I met Garrick Paikai in the fall semester of Mr. Mohan’s Geology class in 1997 (at Leeward Community College). We took this picture at the end of the semester or school year, can’t remember which. I’m so glad we did because I know that back then I did not realize how important that class was going to be to me. It was there that I met the man who would change my life forever. Throughout that school year we talked a lot. He soon became my best friend. In May 1998 we started dating & it has been the best 15 years of my life since then. Garrick has motivated me to be a better person & has definitely helped shaped who I am today. Without him I never would have had the courage to pursue improv which has become a life passion of mine. There is so much more I could say about this man & our relationship, but I’ll end it on this simple fact: There is no one in my life who I’d rather share every moment with. Happy Anniversary to the love of my life, My life does not work without you.
